In March 2023, I began contributing artwork to the Wellington Capital City Pinball team for use in their monthly tournament, “Catch ‘Ya On The Flipper Side”.
The tournament is a casual, everyone-is-welcome sort of atmosphere. As such, they like to celebrate the underdogs by giving out a last-place award (complete with a small prize and some free tokens!). This was where I got my start in pinball pixel art (what a niche…), however, since then I’ve been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to expand my contributions to winner’s plaques and the occasional poster.
